Nick Cannon isn’t just a star on screen—he’s also a dad on a mission. With 12 children, the entertainer believes it’s never too early to start teaching the values of kindness and generosity. And for his older kids, twins Monroe and Moroccan, that lesson is already well underway.

In an exclusive conversation, Nick shared how he’s instilling a strong sense of compassion and responsibility in his children. His approach? Start small and make kindness a daily habit.

The ‘RAK’ System: Making Kindness a Priority

Nick has introduced a unique family tradition he calls “RAKs”—short for Random Acts of Kindness. He encourages his children to “rack up the RAKs” by performing good deeds, no matter how big or small.

“It starts with simple things—being polite, respectful, and understanding the power of sharing,” Nick explained. “We tell them, ‘Sharing is caring.’”

By focusing on everyday actions, Nick believes he’s giving his children a foundation they can build on as they grow. His philosophy is simple: when you are blessed, it’s your responsibility to be a blessing to others.
Why Giving Matters More Than Receiving
For Nick, kindness isn’t just about teaching manners—it’s about shaping his kids into thoughtful, giving individuals. “It feels so much better to give than to receive,” he said passionately.

By fostering these values early, Nick hopes to raise children who see the world beyond their own needs. And while baby Golden, his younger son, is still too young to grasp these lessons, he knows it won’t be long before he, too, starts learning the importance of generosity.
Nick Cannon may be a busy entertainer, but when it comes to parenting, he’s making sure his kids grow up with a mindset focused on making the world a better place—one small act of kindness at a time.
